AdaptED Learning Academy is a new neurodivergent preschool that is in development to meet the growing needs in Augusta, GA.
AdaptED is specifically designed for children with Level 1 and Level 2 Autism and other developmental delays.
We are currently accepting donations and sponsorships to help us open our doors to Augusta families in need.

Speech and Language Pathologist
Words and Beyond LLCTameshia is the Founder and Lead Clinician of Words & Beyond Speech Therapy Services, LLC. With a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from South Carolina State University and a Master of Education in Communication Disorders from Valdosta State University, Tameshia brings over 19 years of diverse experience in the field. Certified and licensed, she has enriched her expertise through roles in public and private schools, skilled nursing facilities, acute inpatient rehab, outpatient facilities, in-home services, behavioral health, and private practice.
Her deepest fulfillment comes from her work in Early Intervention, where she has dedicated herself since 2012. Tameshia finds profound joy in empowering young children and their families to enhance their communication skills, describing her role as both a privilege and a blessing. Additionally, she serves as a clinical placement supervisor, shaping the next generation of speech-language pathologists by fostering their development and igniting their passion for the field.
As a seasoned mother, Tameshia values the intersection of family and professional life, bringing empathy and understanding to each family she works with. Her commitment to both her clients and students highlights her as a cornerstone of professional excellence and compassionate care in the speech-language pathology community.

Occupational Therapist
Bravo Therapeutic Services LLCSara is the founder of Bravo Therapeutic Services LLC, a mobile OT private practice in the Augusta, GA area. She received her undergraduate and master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College in Lancaster, PA over 16 years ago and is currently pursuing her Doctorate from her alma mater, specializing in Autism Support and Trauma Informed Practice.
Sara has extensive training in sensory integration, executive function, feeding therapy, behavior modification, animal assisted therapy, and adaptive aquatics. Sara is a seasoned mom and passionate about equipping children and families with the skills they need to THRIVE at school, home, and play. Sara believes in looking at the whole child and taking all personal and environmental factors into consideration when determining best practice for pediatric therapy.
